Faculty Positions in Computer Science and Engineering
Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the CSE department solicits
applications from excellent candidates in pervasive computing and high performance computing for openings at the assistant professor level.
CSE faculty are affiliated with the world-class Center for Computational
Research, the Center of Excellence for Document Analysis and Recognition,
the Center for Unified Biometrics and Sensors,
the Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, the Center of Excellence
for Information Assurance Research and Education, the Center for Cognitive Science, and the
National Center for Geographic Information and Analysis. The faculty
include AAAI, ACM, and IEEE Fellows and several award winners.
Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering
or related field by August 2008, with an excellent publication record and potential
for developing an externally funded research program.
All applications should be submitted by January 15, 2008.
